What's Been Going On The past year has been a true journey. It is said what doesn't break you will make you. Well, I haven't been broken and never will be. To fall only strengthens your legs when you get back up so you can walk taller on the next leg of life's journey. The past year, I've been eliminating all negative people, places and things from my life. I feel so much better. If you do the same, you will too. On another note, I'll promise you one thing this book I've been telling you about will be finished VERY soon. I admit I've been sidetracked, but "Wisdom From The Jazzman" WILL be published and available for purchase in 2009. I promise you. I finished a photo shoot for it two weeks ago, so for those inquiring minds who want to know. I'm working on it and will keep you posted. I'm updating the website. We've added a Smooth Jazz America player which is pretty cool. You get to see all the song information in real time as the station is playing when you visit this site. I've got a few kinks to work out, but keep coming back it should be straight in a few days hopefully. The concert page has been updated, there are new entries in the guestbook, new drops and promo's are being added and new music is on the air. My sympathy's go out to the family of my departed friend Wayman Tisdale. I had the pleasure of getting to know him and work with him as host/MC during the New Years Eve Celebration concerts we used to have at The Hyatt Regency Reston when I was at Smooth Jazz 105.9. He'll be truly missed. What a great guy and a great loss to the Smooth Jazz world. Speaking of radio stations, I'm back on the air in DC at 96.3 WHUR part-time and fill in. Listen on line at www.WHUR.com and check this site to find out the next time I'll be on the air. It feels good to be back on the airwaves in Washington and it gives me more motivation to further develop Smooth Jazz America. Well that's all for now. Keep listening and spreading the word about the great music, information, inspiration and programming we're committed to giving you 24/7. And please consider becoming getting the VIP Player for your desktop, cell phone or laptop. It looks like your car radio and makes is very easy to access the station without commercial interruptions. You'll love it trust me! It's Sunday, God's day, morning and prayer time, so until the next time.... Peace, God's Many Blessings and Roses On Your Pillow. |
